Hello, readers!

It's been a minute and a half since my last post.  To be honest, I had one written and ready to post a while ago but it was a bit heavy.  I decided to do something a little more fun and light-hearted.  What could be more fun and chill than games?  Bigfish games to be more exact.  I have been a Big Fish Game Club member since 2009 - that's 11 years!  During that time, I have had the chance to try different games and figure out what kinds of games I like.  So, I decided to share five of my current faves.

Fish Tycoon 2 - This game is the second game in its franchise and is basically mirroring the first game with a few minor differences and some new breeds of fish. When I played the original Fish Tycoon, many many years ago, there was something extremely satisfying about breeding fish together and figuring out the puzzle of finding the special fish; going so far as to create charts and spreadsheets to keep track of which fin with which body makes which fish. That satisfaction is not lost in Fish Tycoon 2.

Cute Knight - This is a fun and short game with quite a few different endings depending on the choices you make or the actions you take.  The replayability is pretty fun since you can literally make different choices EVERY time you play.  Maybe work more than explore the cave.  Or learn more than work.  Want a different job?  You got it!  Once you get to a certain date, you will find out what your end story is depending on which skills you built up with the decisions you made.  There are two games in this franchise.  Cute Knight Kingdom doesn't lose any of the fun replayability that Cute Knight has.  I just have a nostalgic attachment to the original.

Charlaine Harris: Dying for Daylight - I only played through this game once, as I typically do, but I remember that I loved it and was so bummed that part two was never released.  And even though it's been a while, I wouldn't be mad if it was released tomorrow.  Just sayin'.  If you like hidden object games and vampires, give this little gem a try.  Then join me in my hopeful sadness that we were left hangin'.
---
Nancy Drew: Ghost of Thornton Hall - Nancy Drew is a whole different ballgame in the most beautiful way!  ND games are very involved and can take a lot of back and forth but are so worth it.  I love that there are parts where you can interact with items that you need to type into yourself or login to computers to search for information and clues.  It makes you feel like you are actually part of the game.  There are so many ND games and I have played only four of them so I have decided to spotlight the latest one I played.  I do want to give some love to the first one I played that started me down the ND spiral though. Nancy Drew: Warnings at Waverly Academy.

Subject 13 - We have now landed on Subject 13!  S13 is a game I have spent the least amount of time with but has blown me away from the Big Fish inventory.  This is the game I am currently trying to get through while streaming on Twitch.  (I have some technical issues due to running OBS, streaming, and playing a game that takes a lot of memory to play but that's a story for another day.)  S13 is a puzzle game where you arrive to an unknown place with a voice guiding you along the way and who is clearly keeping something from you at the same time.  Puzzles and mysteries - you can't really go wrong with that.

That's all I have for you today!  I hope you take some time to check these games out.  I don't know if you can tell but I love me some puzzle, strategy, hidden object games mixed with a bit of RPG.  There are many other games I enjoy playing and will hopefully get around to sharing those with you!

Interaction Time!

What are some of your favorite games?  Do you like more chill games such as Fish Tycoon?  Or do you like to be more involved like in Nancy Drew?  Maybe you're like my other half and like games such as Assassin's Creed (his absolute favorite franchise)?  Share a game in the comment section that you are just over the moon about and what you like about it.  Leave comments but remember to be respectful.

As always, thanks for stopping by!  See you in my next post!
